Our Pods
Our 8 Pods are only a minute walk from the Beach and can comfortably sleep a couple or a family of five
Inside the Pods we’ve designed the space to work for both families and couples with sleeping accommodation for a family of 2 adults and 3 children. In the back we’ve a full size double bed with a sleeper style single bunk up top, a bathroom with a toilet and wash hand basin and a wardrobe.
Up front we have a double sofa bed & kitchenette. In each of the Pods we provide a kettle, cooler, microwave, delph and cutlery. Out on the spacious decks we have a table and benches for al fresco dining and a stand for disposable BBQ’s.
The Beach
Morriscastle Beach is famous for its golden sand and safe waters for swimming. Stretching for over 20kms from Cahore South Beach all the way to Raven Point it's the perfect place to spend the day.
Early risers can enjoy the sunrise from the deck on your pod or better still why not have a sunrise swim!
In the summer months there is a life guard on duty at the public entrance to the beach. Water temperatures range from 8 degrees in April up to 15 degrees in September and have been known to hit highs of 19 degrees! Must haves: buckets, spades, wind breakers, crisp sambos & flasks of tea!
